The form speaks of shelter, in an open and inclusive gesture through the rising roof plane. This expression is also in response to the rising landform to the west. The public/private interface in this structure is delineated cleanly to promote positive surveillance and encourage appropriate uses ie. a range of community and small commercial functions.
